Montreal, March 30, 2001 -- The Dorel Juvenile Group (Canada) wishes to issue a public notice concerning a model 04-468 Bungee Jumper, manufactured for Canada by Cosco. The Product was manufactured and distributed in Canada between May 1996 and December 1999. The model number of the product can be found by looking under the plastic tray.
The clinch ring holding the bungee cord in the retainer may loosen, allowing the seat to fall to the ground. Canadian Consumers may call 1-866-405-8161 to receive a free repair kit. There is no need to return the product to the store. There have been no reports of injuries in Canada to date. Approximately 2000 units were sold in Canada.
